Oral Presentation Rules and Poster Format


Oral presentation rules:
• Confirm your publication number and time, short papers and regular papers, 8 minutes for reporting, 2 minutes for questioning, a total of 10 minutes per presentation. When the report counts down 3 minutes, the bell will ring once, and when the time is up, the bell will ring 2 times. Please keep track of the time.
• The presentation slide format can be download here.
• Please upload your PPT file to the cloud (the google space we send with acceptance letter). There also are staff on site to assist.
• Store your files on a flash drive, cloud or send to your personal cloud space for emergencies.
• The computer system provided is Windows system. If you need to use other systems for publishing, please bring your own related adapters and computer.

Format of the poster:
• The poster must have the words “APAMI 2022 – 12th Biennial Conference of the Asia Pacific Association for Medical Information”.
• The title of the poster contains the title and author information, and mainly presents the research results. It includes the introduction, literature review, research methods, conclusions and references.
• The content is in two columns, and the maximum size: make 1 A0 (W84.1cm×H118.9cm) vertical poster.
• The size of the figures and texts of the thesis should be clearly readable at a distance of one meter.

Notes for poster posting:
• Contributors are requested to output 1 poster in color, bring it on the day and post it on the numbered poster rack within the specified time. (For online publishers(participant from other country), please provide PDF, the conference will assist in printing and posting it at the venue)
• At least one author must be present during a presentation period. (Except online publishers)
• The poster removes the poster at the end of the poster display time. Those that have not been removed will be taken back by the conference organizer, and the publisher shall not ask for it to be taken back.
• Posting tools and venue staff are available on site to assist.
• Posting place: Room C, Pondering Building 11F.
• The posting time of posters will be announced separately.



SUBMISSION


Instructions for Preparation and Submission of Papers


-Extended abstract ( 2 pages, for poster / oral presentation) are limited to a maximum of two in the two-column format including figures and tables.
The submission should contain the following sections: introduction, methods, results, discussion, and conclusions, references.
Figures and tables can be placed embedded in the text or at the end of the references.

-Short papers ( 4-6 pages;poster/oral presentation) are limited to a minimum of four and a maximum of six pages describing technical novelty, proof of concept, and innovative ideas, whereas with preliminary results.

-Regular papers (6-10 pages;oral presentation) are limited to a minimum of six and a maximum of ten pages describing mature ideas with results and discussion.

To encourage authors to submit manuscripts for Regular papers and short papers, the scientific program committee will select certain excellent papers to submit to a special issue of Applied Sciences (SCI indexed IF : 2.679)( https://www.mdpi.com/journal/applsci/special_issues/APAMI...)





Manuscript should comprise:

1.Submitted papers should be in English and structured under the following headings: Topic of Paper, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion and Conclusion (but not limits to).

2. Papers should be typed and accompanied by an Abstract not exceeding 500 words. The paper itself should not exceed 10 A4 pages (by using template), including tables, graphs and references.

4. The affiliated institutes of all authors should be stated. The corresponding author should be identified and an e-mail address provided for contact.

5.Paper should be uploaded as PDF format.

6.Papers must not have been previously published.

7.Papers will be peer-reviewed by APAMI2022 Scientific Committee members.

8.Authors are responsible for the accuracy of their papers and will be required to sign a Publication Confirmation and Authorization form. This should be returned to the Conference Secretariat by E-mail together with the final version of the paper (after acceptance notification).
