Abstract

This AeHIN session features members of the Community of Interoperability Labs (COIL) who will present the work they are doing in Interoperability. At the Colombo General Meeting in 2018, several countries pledged to establish interoperability labs where local stakeholders can go to interconnect their systems. The COIL begins to build innovative demonstration applications in various regions and continues to promote curriculum, interoperability, and fulfillment of experimental fields. COIL aims to create new medical information technology applications, integrate data from various countries, and promote digital integration. It is a cross-disciplinary and cross-international cooperation structure.

Objective

  1. Understand what each country lab is doing (use cases)
  2. Agree on shared use cases (pandemic) and tools
  3. Share FHIR end points
  4. Agree on pandemic drills using synthetic data
